Charlotte studied for three years at Royal Holloway, University of London and was awarded a one-year scholarship to Sweet Briar College, Virginia, USA. She graduated in 1997 with a 2:1 degree in Music, with piano as her principal instrument.

In 2003 she was awarded the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in 2003, specialising in piano performance.

Charlotte has seven years of full-time teaching experience and enjoys teaching beginners as well as more advanced students. In addition to teaching piano she teaches music theory up to ABRSM Grade 8 level.

She is a registered performing artist with the Piano Society and also a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians
